Tuesday, 4th April 2006 MY MOTHER-MY BEST FRIEND

Just got some devastating news that my mum has bladder cancer. The surgeon said it needs to be removed and she'll have to have a colosomy bag for her wee. I hope she opt's for it, she is 82 and had 5 bouts with the big C in the past. If not chemo and a very short life. How am I to cope! My mother-my best friend. She's been through thick and thin with me! Gosh, being a Psychotherapist doesn't do me any good at this moment in time!
We had Ron Dovey down on Saturday and spent about 6 hours watching some of our old Who video's and having a laugh. A lot of it is unseen to most and we have offered it to Ron so he could show some of them at his convention. Hope he uses the cut up clip of Moonie sing "Do me good, tonight". It's wonderful.

Sorry to hear your devastating news Melissa, my thoughts and prayers are with both you and your Mom.

It' doesnt seem right to mention this in the same post, but thanks to both yourself and Gary for a great day on Saturday, it was fun watching all those videos.

Top marks to Kayleigh and Joshua John Alec, two lovely children, it was a pleasure to meet them both, love the dimples :-)

Take care

Ron
